West Garden Grove Youth Baseball

West Garden Grove Youth Baseball (WGGYB) promotes the idea of growth in baseball skills at all levels, good sportsmanship, honesty, respect, loyalty, and a sense of teamwork through a positive competitive environment so our youth may become strong, well-adjusted members of the community. Based in Garden Grove, California, WGGYB is an all-volunteer organization that offers both Fall and Spring baseball programs to boys and girls ages 2-14, as well as select teams (6U and older). We serve Garden Grove and all of Orange County. WGGYB is a member of Protect Our Nation's Youth (PONY) Baseball and plays by PONY rules. The difference between the PONY brand of baseball and Little League is that PONY more closely resembles Major League Baseball (MLB) play. PONY plays by MLB rules allowing both lead-offs and stealing starting at age 9 and field dimensions are more appropriately sized. Spring season begins late February until mid May, while Fall season begins mid-August until mid November.
