Beginning January 1, 2018 there will be a new USA Baseball Bat Standard
How can I tell if my bat is approved for league play?
Beginning January 1, 2018, all bats for players under 14 must be marked with a new USA Baseball stamp (see image below). The bats currently on the market, which are marked with a 1.15BPF stamp, will no longer be legal for play in these leagues. Please note that this rule applies to PONY Baseball, travel ball leagues have separate rules, so a bat that is acceptable there may not be legal for PONY.
What does this mean for Fall Ball 2020?
Your player will need a bat marked with a new USA Baseball stamp.
What does this mean for Spring Ball 2021?
